Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities

Wage Payment: Employee rights consist of:- Spend for all earnings made (INFO # 3) at the rate concurred to by the employer and staff member.

Statutes & Rules: DLSS enforces numerous of Colorado’s wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor guidelines, including the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (” COMPS Order”), and the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Please visit the Division’s Labor Statutes and Labor Rules webpages for present and prior variations of key Colorado labor statutes and guidelines.

Published Guidance: The Division’s main types of public assistance are:- INFOs (Interpretive Notices and Formal Opinions) – the Division’s formally approved notices, opinions, and explanations on numerous labor law topics; and.

Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations

Demands & Complaints for Wages: If a company owes you salaries, you can send your employer a composed demand for payment of incomes by mail, e-mail, text, or other electronic means.
